Time Difference
Larry's flight is supposed to leave Sydney, Australia, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 9. What time and what day will Larry get to New York City? New York is twelve hours behind Sydney; that is, it's twelve hours later in Sydney than in New York City. The flight from Sydney to Los Angeles takes 14 hours, Larry's layover in Los Angeles is 2 hours, and the flight from L.A. to New York is 5 hours. Assume there are no delays.

I would have to say 7 am on September 10th. There is a three hour time difference between NYC and LA, (NYC being ahead 3). If that is taken into account. If it is not taken into account, he woul arrive at NYC at 10 am on September 10th.
Scratch that, 1 pm on 9/10...I miscalculated...
10pm on 9/9, the only time difference that matters is that between nyc and sidney. the flight is 21 hr long. he would have left sidney @ 1am 9/9 nyc time.
The answer is..........Larry will get to New York City on Thursday, September 9, at 10 p.m.
