A man is asleep downstairs. He hears a crash and runs upstairs and turns on a light. He looks out the window, and immediately kills himself. How come?

Answer; The man lives in a lighthouse. The light he turned on was the spotlight, which he forgot to turn on before he went to sleep. The crash was a boat on the shore. He felt so badly about it, he killed himself.
I would have never gotten that!
